Loiola brings homes together while giving each its own garden, terrace and private space. The proximity of neighbours is addressed through the position of the volumes and the direction of views.

The turns and shifts of the volumes create terraces and admit daylight. Recesses in the exposed concrete direct each home towards its garden and limit views between neighbours. Privacy is part of the geometry of the group.

Concrete responds to the humidity and salt-laden air of the coast. The layout, building envelope and services are designed with the aim of reducing energy demand and using renewable energy generation.
